This geode is made much like the others but it has semi precious stones (Snowflake Obsidian, Labrodite, Black Stone, Black Tourmaline, Opalite, and Quartz) and stone beads along with the other embelishments. Each geode begins as a 4 inch round disk about 1/4 inch thick and end up around twice that depth as I build it up with modeling paste and gem + crystal colored beads, and a slew of other embellishments to get the look just right. It’s finished with a varnish to give it long lasting protection.
