These are my hand made geodes. They begin as a 4 inch round disk about 1/4 inch thick and end up around twice that depth as I build it up with modeling paste and gem + crystal colored beads, and a slew of other embellishments to get the look just right. It’s finished with a varnish to give it long lasting protection.
